Hair Trend Alert Cornrows and Ethnic Braids. From Tyra Banks to Ciara the braided hairstyle of cornrows is a look that is quickly on the rise. Many are in fact no stranger to this look in fact it was one of my favorite styles in high school and it can really give your hair a break in the summer time. Let me point out that you don't have to be black or African American to rock this look but keep in mind that if you are wearing this style all attention will be focused on your face so make sure your eyebrows are waxed and your makeup looks fierce.
